Co‐delivery of tauroursodeoxycholic acid and dexamethasone using electrospun ultrafine fibers to induce early coupled angiogenesis and osteogenic differentiation

In the complicated process of bone regeneration, osteogenic differentiation and angiogenesis are crucial. this study, a novel dual small molecule composite electrospun scaffold was prepared using polycaprolactone embedded with angiogenic factor tauro-ursodeoxycholic acid dexamethasone to promote early osteogenesis. Additionally, related properties, activity, activity analyses were conducted for scaffold. The results demonstrated that possessed proper mechanical properties hydrophilicity. During initial drug release, release rate hydrophilic higher compared hydrophobic dexamethasonethe. drugs slowly sustained released more than 528 h. boosted cell proliferation accelerated up 21 days. alkaline phosphatase mineral deposition comparatively on drug-releasing fibers control scaffolds. Wound healing migration assay tube formation further in vitro revealed exhibited efficiency promoting ductive. Hence, had high potential regeneration by enhancing angiogenesis.
